6S to Success

REDCOM has fully adopted 6S, the lean strategy for reducing waste and optimizing processes. Our obsession with order and cleanliness results in increased efficiency, reduced waste, and elimination of FOD (Foreign Object Debris/Damage).

USA Manufacturing

It’s important to us and our customers to keep manufacturing operations here in the USA. We’ve been doing business in Western New York State since 1978, during which time we’ve developed strong relationships with trusted suppliers, distributors, and academic institutions.

To the fullest extent possible, we use local, regional, and US suppliers for all raw materials, components, expendables, and services. This is good for the country and good for you – reducing lead times, improving quality, securing your intellectual property, and getting your product to market faster.

Conformance, Control, and Consistency

We follow strict quality policies, procedures, and processes that we’ve refined over 40 years in business. By conforming to the standards and implementing the proper controls, we deliver consistent results and unparalleled quality for our customers.

All of our manufacturing operators receive regular training and are certified to these standards:

  • IPC-A-610: Hardware, Soldering/HV, Terminals, Through-Hole, SMT, PCBAs, Component Damage
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620: Crimp terminations, insulation displacement connections
  • J-STD-001: Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
  • IPC-7711A/7721A: Rework of Electronic Assemblies, Repair and Modification of Print Boards and Electronic Assemblies
