Zach Brown

Solutions Architect

Zach Brown is a Solutions Architect at REDCOM Laboratories, where he works with new and existing customers to establish communications solutions that fit their needs. In his role, he helps identify issues, demonstrates REDCOM’s capabilities and products, and works closely with the Business Development team to support customer engagements.

Zach is an Army veteran with 13 years of service, including 10 years on active duty and 3 years in the reserves as a Signal Support Systems Specialist (25U). During his military career, he served in a variety of communications roles, including Forward Signal Support NCO and Radio Telephone Operator (RTO) for company commanders on Route Clearance Patrol missions. He also maintained communications for a Base Defense Operations Center and served as a Communications Team Chief, providing instruction and training on tactical radio systems to deploying units and soldiers preparing for Expert Infantryman Badge and Ranger School training.

Known for his team-oriented mindset and willingness to step in wherever needed, Zach enjoys working with people, learning new things, and helping others. At REDCOM, he enjoys working with tactical communications technologies and supporting military personnel, first responders, and emergency services organizations. He values the opportunity to combine his radio and IT experience while continuing to learn new technologies and help users communicate efficiently and effectively.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and children, watching hockey, football, and other sports, and gathering with friends and family for cookouts and other activities.
