Erik Jacobson is a Government Contract Program Manager at REDCOM Laboratories, where he manages Department of the Army prototype efforts. In his role, he drives milestone execution, supports MBSE-based requirements traceability, and helps maintain alignment between government stakeholders and contractors throughout the project lifecycle, from kickoff through formal design reviews.
Erik is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran who began his career as a Munitions Troop before serving as Director of Innovation for Air Education and Training, where he helped bring next-generation training capabilities to future generations of Airmen. Following his military retirement, he continued supporting government initiatives in program and technical product management roles focused on contract execution and project delivery.
Erik takes pride in supporting those around him, believing that providing the right tools and direction can make all the difference in accomplishing a mission. He values keeping one eye on current priorities and the other on future challenges, helping teams accomplish their mission while preparing for what comes next. At REDCOM, he is excited about helping develop the next generation of communications technologies, breaking barriers in communications, and supporting the warfighter through innovative solutions.
Outside of work, Erik enjoys working on science projects with his daughter, exploring 3D modeling and 3D printing, developing AI projects, and spending time with family playing video games and board games. He appreciates the opportunity REDCOM provides to contribute in meaningful ways while supporting his personal goal of being present for his daughter. Always eager to learn something new, Erik enjoys diving deep into new interests and technologies.
