Solutions Engineering Team

Jason Hicks is an Associate Solutions Architect for REDCOM, where he works closely with potential and existing customers to identify their needs, formulates solutions that meet those specific needs and conducts product training so these customers can efficiently use their new comms solution.

Jason comes to REDCOM full-time after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in May 2022 with a BS in Software Engineering. After conducting two co-ops with the Validation Lab at REDCOM, starting in January 2020 as part of the Automation team, he was brought on full-time upon graduation. As he learned, and took an interest in integrating REDCOM’s products with third-party products, he slowly transitioned from the Automation Team into more manual testing. This sparked his interest in becoming a Solutions Architect at REDCOM, where he works directly with customers to meet their comms needs.

Jason is personable and passionate about his work, bringing enthusiasm to each challenge he’s presented with. He is skilled at presenting product information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making him an asset to the REDCOM team. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with friends and family. He and his wife have two cats which they adore, and he loves his motorcycle in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
