Fred Elliot has been with REDCOM since 2007 and assumed the role of Manager of Business Development and Technical Alliances in 2015. Within his role, Fred is responsible for management of strategic business relationships for REDCOM, including General Dynamics, U.S. Army, and other key partners. When Fred first joined the REDCOM team, he served as Product Manager of Unified Communications, where he was responsible for the oversight of REDCOM’s next-generation Unified Communications product line. As Sales Engineer VoIP for Customer Engineering, Fred acted as a lead solution architect and technical resource for the REDCOM sales team, building custom UC solutions for customers.
Before coming to REDCOM, Fred worked at the Eastman Kodak Company as a Network Administrator managing a highly critical data network, and also worked at Windstream as a Network Engineer, where he operated closely with a team of engineers to design and install the infrastructure for their new VoIP service offerings.
Through his professional experiences, Fred has served a diverse mix of customers ranging from Enterprise, Industrial, Military and Carriers, often acting as primary customer liaison and technical lead. Fred is a highly motivated and competent business professional, who has been instrumental in securing new clientele for REDCOM as well as developing and maintaining relationships with current customers.
A charismatic and solution-oriented individual, Fred enjoys direct customer interactions that enable him to showcase REDCOM’s emerging technology and support unique customer requirements. REDCOM’s small and dynamic atmosphere is one of the reasons Fred enjoys working at the company, along with the tremendously skilled staff and the fantastic customer base. Fred enjoys his role, where he has the ability to wear multiple hats and do something different each day. In his spare time, Fred maintains rental properties, spends time with his family, and is an avid automobile enthusiast.
