Derwin Melendez-Diaz has been with REDCOM since 2016 as a Product Training and Support Specialist where he supports REDCOM’s customers by scheduling, developing, and delivering training on REDCOM HDX, SLICE, and Sigma. Derwin also served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years as a radio operator, later a telecommunications instructor, and was appointed the 1st Battalion 7th Marines Telecommunications Chief.

Derwin was first introduced to REDCOM technology while serving as an active duty Marine, where he experienced firsthand how our telecom technology is actively being used in life-threatening situations and can save lives. Using his extensive knowledge and experience with our products, Derwin teaches customers how to use REDCOM systems. His fresh perspective has helped us revamp and optimize our training equipment and processes.

An organized individual driven by customer support, Derwin truly enjoys interacting with customers and teaching them how to use REDCOM products. When he isn’t at the office, Derwin likes to spend his time studying, and learning more about networking and tele-communications.
