Dinah Gueldenpfennig Weisberg promoted to CEO of REDCOM Laboratories, Inc.

REDCOM Laboratories, Inc., a leading supplier of the world’s most secure and reliable communications solutions, is pleased to announce that Dinah Gueldenpfennig Weisberg has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer.

“REDCOM will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. This is an incredible milestone, and I’m so proud of everyone for their hard work and innovation that got us to this point,” said Mrs. Weisberg. “I’m honored to be in a position to lead the team of great people at REDCOM as we continue to develop powerful and exciting new solutions for our customers.”

Mrs. Weisberg has been with REDCOM for 32 years, having held a myriad of roles across the company. She began her career at REDCOM in 1986 as a summer intern, then quickly moved into the development group as a software engineer in 1988. She held several senior roles in the engineering department through 2004.

In 2004 Mrs. Weisberg was promoted to Vice President of Planning and Government Program Administration where for eight years she led the group responsible for government and military engagement. In 2012 Mrs. Weisberg was promoted to Executive Vice President, and in 2017 she became the company’s President.

“Dinah understands the company better than anyone,” said REDCOM’s founder Klaus Gueldenpfennig, who continues his post as the company’s Chairman of the Board. “I’ve had the pleasure of watching Dinah grow as a leader over the past 32 years with the company. She is uniquely qualified to lead REDCOM, and am confident she will take us to even greater heights.”

Mrs. Weisberg holds a BS in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, a MS in Software Development and Management from RIT, and an Executive MBA from RIT.

In her spare time, Mrs. Weisberg is an avid race car driver, and competes with BERG Racing, a business run by husband John Weisberg. She started racing in 2004, and has competed in SCCA club events including 24-hour enduros, SVRA Vintage, GRAND-AM & IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, and Pirelli World Challenge. Mrs. Weisberg uses her race events to raise awareness for REDCOM and Hillside Children’s Center.

Mrs. Weisberg is also an active supporter of Rochester Regional Health and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women® campaign, a national movement to end heart disease and stroke.
