REDCOM announces strategic partnership with Base Camp Connect

REDCOM Laboratories, Inc., the leading supplier of tactical edge communications systems, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Base Camp Connect. With this agreement, Base Camp Connect will now be a crucial partner for selling and integrating REDCOM communications systems in the Canadian government sector.

“With their global reach and strength as an integrator, Base Camp Connect is a logical partner for us,” said REDCOM President/CEO Dinah Gueldenpfennig Weisberg. “We’re very excited to be working together to deliver our highly interoperable, low-SWaP, MIL-spec products to new government and defense customers in Canada.”

‘’We’re proud to partner with the most trusted company in the world for secure communications,” said Jean-Philippe Grondin, CEO of Base Camp Connect. “For us, this alliance means that we’re able to integrate the highest degree of voice encryption in our tactical communications go-kit, which would have required years of R&D to achieve by ourselves. This partnership also represents new business opportunities with the Canadian National Defence for both companies.”

The new BCC-MIL Classified system is a rugged all-in-one deployable communications package built around REDCOM technology. The system enables robust voice, data, and radio interoperability and meets stringent military impact and vibration specifications for airlift, seaborne transport, and off-road transportation.

For the first time, Base Camp Connect will be conducting live interoperability demos of the BCC-MIL Classified system at the upcoming CANSEC Conference, Canada’s Global Defence and Security Tradeshow on May 30 and 31 in Ottawa. The demo will show how BCC and REDCOM technology can reliably connect virtually any voice communications system in the world, from strategic command and control out to the tactical edge. The system can provide connectivity between AS-SIP phones, landlines, smartphones, satellite phones, radios, and even magneto crank-phones. For a live demo, stop by BaseCamp Connect’s booth #627 at the CANSEC show.
