JITC Certified

REDCOM's SLICE 2100 V3.0 has been certified by the Defense Information Systems Agency's Joint Interoperability Testing Command (JITC) and placed on JITC's Defense Switched Network Approved Products List (APL). With the Version 3.0 certification and listing on JITC's APL, warfighters can be confident when it comes to the interoperability and information assurance of REDCOM products operating in a Joint environment. REDCOM's SLICE 2100 and HDX products are the only fully integrated VoIP and TDM solutions listed on the JITC APL, giving warfighters all the benefits of IP while preserving the functionality of existing infrastructure.

The TRANSip-enabled SLICE 2100 is a comprehensive solution for multiple government applications, offering interoperability, legacy functionality, flexible and priority routing, data collection and protocol support.

VoIP and TDM Convergence

SLICE 2100 with TRANSip supports up to 1,000 registered IP subscribers, 2 digital spans (T1 or E1), up to 24 analog lines (depending on the module) and 4 ISDN BRI lines and can support multiple types of analog trunks. Its available V.150.1 supports secure VoIP interoperability. Two SLICE 2100s can be stacked to operate as a single system of increased capacity.

Interchangeable plug-in modules for SLICE® 2100™

The basic SLICE 2100 unit has two T1/E1 digital spans, plus two 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports (for up to 1,000 IP subscribers), and two PCMCIA slots for updates and database backup. The SLICE 2100 also has two rear-accessible positions for interface modules. Either position can be equipped with a Line Module or a Line/ Trunk Module. These modules can be replaced in the field with power applied.

Innovative TRANSip Technology

REDCOM's TRANSip technology provides an innovative telecommunications solution that leaps beyond first generation softswitches, integrating VoIP and TDM Call Management, Media Gateway Services, Media Gateway Controller, and other major features. Command & Control Features

Link Command System (LCS): a software package that operates as an attendant/operator on a standard PC. Its graphical user interface can be used with a touch-screen monitor and features keyboard based dialing, paging, conferencing, attendant-to-attendant calls, access restrictions and more.

Maintenance & Administration User Interface (MAUI): a graphical user interface that simplifies set up of your SLICE 2100. The intuitive GUI provides an interactive graphic view of your system to enhance the ease of maintenance and productivity of your system.

Tactical Traffic Metering Package (TTMP): a software package that enhances traffic analysis & CDR/LAMA features of your SLICE 2100. TTMP allows network administrators to collect & analyze data over multiple sites.

ClusterNet™: REDCOM's ClusterNet technology connects multiple sites and allows them to function as a single, truly integrated switching system. ClusterNet can be used with REDCOM SLICE 2100, REDCOM SLICE and REDCOM HDX to create a scalable communications system designed for a distributed network configuration.
