Integrated VoIP and TDM functionality in a slim (1U) softswitch
SLICE® 2100™ with TRANSip is an integrated communications platform that provides a flexible, reliable VoIP solution. The SLICE 2100 brings VoIP connectivity to a wide range of applications, including solutions for public and private networks, emergency response communications, and enterprise markets.
A cost-effective, single-unit transition to VoIP
SLICE 2100 functions as both a softswitch and gateway, delivering up to 1,000 IP subscribers per unit. Plus, its full TDM capabilities allow you to connect with legacy networks. SLICE 2100 gives you a complete telecom solution in a single, 1U platform.
Revenue generating features help you maximize profitability
SLICE 2100 gives you the flexibility to approach new "green field" service areas with a VoIP offering. Ideal for test marketing IP services to your subscribers, it works as an adjunct/overlay on your existing network. SLICE 2100 allows you to compete globally by offering remote subscriber access. You can also add new revenue with IP Centrex services. As you grow your SLICE 2100 network, your cost per user goes down while your ability to sell profitable advanced services goes up. You'll respond effectively to marketplace demands and defend your subscriber base against intrusion from low-cost competition.
SLICE 2100 protects your infrastructure investments
You've made a significant investment in your network and SLICE 2100 helps you maximize your existing assets. SLICE 2100 maintains connectivity with voice mail, GSM, operator services platforms, and satellite networks. Its TDM interfaces preserve your customers' legacy equipment (including modem, fax, and Point of Sale terminals). To help you reduce operating costs, SLICE 2100 offers integrated SIP trunking.
Retain customers with flexible bandwidth
SLICE 2100's full range of capabilities allows you to address your customers' needs while you counter low-cost competition. Flexible bandwidth allocation helps you manage low-revenue subscribers by offering reduced bandwidth, while retaining high-end subscribers with high bandwidth and premium services, from POTS to ISDN and VoIP.
Manage costs with Call Detail Recording
SLICE 2100's Call Detail Recording (CDR) and Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) provide a record for each call, regardless if it is IP or TDM based. REDCOM's integrated Call Detail Recording helps you manage costs and control the use of external trunk services like no other softswitch can.
