Interchangeable plug-in modules for SLICE® 2100™


The basic SLICE 2100 unit has two T1/E1 digital spans, plus two 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports (for up to 1,000 IP subscribers), and two PCMCIA slots for updates and database backup. The SLICE 2100 also has two rear-accessible positions for interface modules. Either position can be equipped with a Line Module or a Line/ Trunk Module. These modules can be replaced in the field with power applied.

  • Software-selected per circuit to operate with magneto phones or magneto switchboards (SB-22 or 3614) or standard phones.
  • DTMF receivers & caller-ID senders & echo cancellers.
  • Features re-ring in normal & variable ring cycles.
  • 24 or 48 volt for loop battery (auto-select).
2 ISDN BRI-S (2B+D) Lines
  • Meets both ANSI & ETSI standards.
2 E&M/SF Trunks
  • Software-selected per module to operate in E&M or SF mode.
2 GSRD/LSRD Trunks
  • Software-selected per module to operate in GSRD or LSRD mode.
