Integrated TDM & VoIP in an all-inclusive platformREDCOM's HDX·C equipped with the TRANSip technology suite provides an innovative telecommunications solution that leaps ahead of first generation softswitches, integrating VoIP and TDM Call Management, Media Gateway Services, Media Gateway Controller, and other next generation features. HDX•C gives warfighters all the benefits of IP while preserving the functionality of their existing telecom infrastructure.
HDX•C supports secure, tactical, and strategic VoIP communicationsHDX•C with TRANSip supports secure VoIP communication and also enables IP and TDM users to communicate securely via SCIP and V.150.1. HDX•C connects multi-technology networks and provides a secure link for Joint, NATO, and Coalition Forces. The comprehensive solution for a wide range of defense applications, HDX•C offers interoperability, legacy functionality, flexible and priority routing, data collection and protocol support. The converged networks solutionWarfighters currently use a wide range of communications and encryption technologies that were not designed to be compatible. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), and the Tri Services Network are all from different generations of technology. REDCOM HDX•C with TRANSip delivers the secure converged network solution to serve the Warfighters’ communication needs. HDX•C allows a Type 1 Secure VoIP phone to call directly and securely to a Secure Analog Device. Also, HDX•C enables a KY-68 phone, dialing 10 digits, to communicate securely with a Type 1 Secure VoIP Phone. VoIP, TDM, & TRI-TAC interoperabilityHDX•C provides advanced VoIP features while retaining complete compatibility with traditional TDM switching. HDX•C offers a drop-in solution that offers communicators all the benefits of IP while preserving the proven functionality of their existing infrastructure. Coupled with REDCOM TRANSip technology, HDX•C delivers maximum communications interoperability, including SIP, SCIP, V.150.1, GSM, radio, SATCOM, ISDN PRI, Euro PRI, V5.2, IPv4, and IPv6. The reliable transition to IP with up to 1,000 IP subscribers per shelfFor the foreseeable future, legacy devices and networks must continue to be supported. HDX•C with TRANSip offers a low risk, flexible, and cost-effective transition to VoIP. With HDX•C you can start with as few as 100 IP subscribers. Operating as both a softswitch and a gateway, HDX•C delivers up to 1,000 IP subscribers per shelf. Its extensive TDM capabilities also allow you to retain legacy equipment. HDX•C is a true drop-in replacement that facilitates simple transition to VoIP. Manage IP SATCOM bandwidth with advanced VoIP trunk featuresWarfighters are highly dependent on SATCOM for their reach back support. VoIP consumes a considerable amount of SATCOM bandwidth if not controlled. Standards and the HDX•C’s advanced VoIP trunk features help manage the SATCOM bandwidth consumed in IP based voice communications. Considerable SATCOM bandwidth can be saved during modem driven secure voice conversations by using HDX•C’s integrated V.150.1 standard. Advanced VoIP trunk features manage the quantity of calls allowed onto a SATCOM link as well as the amount of bandwidth a user can consume. |
