REDCOM specializes in high-tech telecommunications switching system design and manufacture. We have many talented and dedicated engineers on staff. REDCOM’s employees have a wide cross-section of skills and education in engineering and non-engineering disciplines. Some of the areas for which we staff include:

  • Engineering – Electrical engineers, real time control software engineers, with C and/or Java experience, and IT software engineers. Telephony, IP, and network knowledge or educational specialization is highly desirable. While REDCOM provides a dynamic, structured environment to ensure high productivity, it also gives substantial freedom to engineers to use and build their skills and knowledge.
  • Sales – We sell direct, with our own direct sales staff and sales support staff. This includes technical requirements analysis, quotation, order entry, customer database customization, and customer technical support and training. Positions are staffed by salespersons, engineers and technicians. Education and experience requirements vary depending upon the position.
  • Manufacturing – REDCOM builds its own circuit boards and systems. REDCOM circuit boards use surface mount technologies. Positions include test engineering, manufacturing process design, board assembly/testing, system assembly/testing, as well as shipping and receiving. Education requirements vary, depending on job requirements. We cross-train our manufacturing employees, creating a flexible workforce able to meet changing demands, which greatly increases job diversity and satisfaction.
  • Facilities – We are proud of our office and manufacturing facilities. Maintenance and housekeeping activities are provided by our own facilities and grounds staff. They are an integral and valued part of our operation.
  • Administration – REDCOM administration staff handles purchasing, quality control, and a variety of other administrative activities. We have our own internal accounting staff for all necessary corporate activities. Dedicated IT servers equip them with the necessary tools, fully integrated with the rest of our corporate activities and systems. Education and experience requirements vary depending upon position.

State of the Art Facility

REDCOM’s workforce enjoys a comfortable, well maintained office and manufacturing facility. This 140,000 square foot facility is located on forty acres in suburban Victor, New York. Our manufacturing floor is built around a large, treed atrium. We have a health facility open to all employees, with two racquetball courts, exercise/workout equipment, saunas, and a large Jacuzzi. There is even an equipped radio shack for Ham radio operators. The grounds include walking paths through wooded areas.

Located near Rochester, New York, Victor is within driving distance of the Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls, the Adirondack Mountains, and the Catskill Mountains. Channel Partner Program Manager

The Channel Partner Program (CPP) Manager is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of REDCOM’s Channel Partner Program, including program requirements, policies, partner benefits, partner management tools, and transaction process requirements.

Working closely with a cross-functional team of Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, and Technical Support/Training personnel, this individual will build and roll out a scalable program to grow REDCOM’s Unified Communications products sales through a newly-created Channel Partner network.


  • Develop CPP structure and parameters, including partner eligibility requirements, benefits, and related processes
  • Grow the CPP by way of Channel Partner identification, engagement, and activation
  • Develop and deploy best practice for CPP expansion in regards to investment program, MDF, value-based competencies, and incentive programs.
  • Manage the CPP through all phases of the development cycle, from analysis and design through implementation and tracking
  • Work with finance and legal to develop program policies, procedures and incentive program.
  • Create and refine CPP value proposition and key messages
  • Build rapport with and effectively communicate to internal stakeholders the value of the CPP.
  • Report regularly to all internal stakeholders on the progress in development and implementation of the CPP.


  • Minimum of five years of channel sales and partner program management experience, preferably acquired by working for or with an IP networking, VoIP, and/or Unified Communications technology vendor
  • Deep knowledge of the Managed Services Provider (MSP) business model and MSP industry structure
  • Motivated to sell the advantages and benefits of the CPP to prospective Channel Partners
  • Ability to identify new tools and strategies to enable Channel Partners to sell effectively
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate cross-functionally and across geographies for program development
  • Ability to design, develop and manage program development from initial structuring through to execution and reporting
  • Excellent communicator with ability to clearly convey ideas and information in speaking and writing
  • Ability to proactively identify alternatives and make contingency plans
  • Creative and able to balance multiple tasks within tight deadlines and limited budgets
  • Travel: Initially < 10%, increasing to 20% – 30% after six months


  • BS or BA required; MBA preferred.

Customer Support Specialist

The primary responsibilities of this position include providing technical services to internal and external customers prior to and after sale regarding use of products, conducting research to answer routine and non-routine technical questions, and to resolve technical problems.

A secondary responsibility of this position includes conducting customer training classes and reviewing customer training classes for technical content. Travel may be required.

Successful candidates will offer working knowledge of domestic and international interfaces, signaling and protocols, familiarity with test devices, OEM products and typical network devices, as well as system network knowledge.

The following IT Networking experience in a telecom environment is desirable:

  • Session border controllers
  • Firewalls
  • Wireshark analysis
  • Cisco routers
  • Wireless and server technologies


  • BS in a related discipline, such as Networking & Systems Administration, desired.
